Old Vine Shiraz
Wine
Mandoon Estate Old Vine Shiraz blends fruit from the Sita Vineyard in the Swan Valley, planted in 1954, and the Nesci Vineyard in the Chittering Valley, planted in 1946.
In the winery, traditional methods are used to ensure the wine shows varietal and regional character. Following open fermentation, the wine is pressed and aged in new and seasoned oak barrels.
Red purple, Mandoon Estate Old Vine Shiraz has layers of forest fruit flavours and soft, ripe tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
